Susan and Bob Mixer have been visiting Small Hope Bay Lodge for over 20 years. This year they returned to celebrate their wedding anniversary and vow renewal. The ceremony was beautiful, Small Hope's north beach made a beautiful setting for such a spectacular evening occasion. Guest, family, and friends all looked on to witness the re commitment of love. It was a magical moment as Reverend Hamilton officiated over the ceremony. The Mixer's friends MaryKay and Tom stood as witnesses during the ceremony. Jes and Jace get married in the Bahamas . . .

We were privileged to be able to host another wedding at Small Hope Bay Lodge recently. Jessica and Jace came to the resort one year ago and were engaged during their stay here. They thought it would make a beautiful wedding location as well and brought some of their immediate family down to celebrate with them. 

It was a lovely beach ceremony followed by a great party! Congratulations to the beautiful couple. We wish them many, many years of happiness!

Whats been happening lately????

May 24th welcomed the arrival of dive master Dennis son Xavier!!! Congratulations!

Vincent, Jane & Paul had a great week fishing all over Andros. They traveled to the West Side, Conch Sound, Fresh Creek and South....A good week was had by all!

Don't forget Small Hope is an Orvis Certified Fishing Lodge!!

 

 

We have had a visit from old friends Gar, Tracey and Morgan from Virginia. This was their 5th visit!!!

We have been doing some great diving. We were at Goat Cay Wall the other day and spotted a turtle, what  great sight and a pleasure for all divers to see! Check out the video

Summer interns have started to arrive, welcome back Petter and Simen, time for some fun and hard work!!

News from Small Hope.................

A big HELLO to everyone out there!!

So what has been happening at Small Hope lately???

We have had Chris, Fred and Pete from Massachusetts back for some fun in the sun and early morning Over the Wall dive, it was great seeing them again.

Bev and Rudy's Seaside Wedding......

On Tuesday 22 March 2011, Bev and Rudy got married!!!

It was a quiet afternoon wedding. The sun was shining, the wedding arch was decorated,  there was a light sea breeze, the day was perfect!!
Revered Hamilton was on hand for the ceremony and his words of wisdom. The vows were said, the marriage certificates were sign, it was then time to enjoy the afternoon sun on the outside patio with music and the first dance as man and wife.
A big congratulations to Bev and Rudy on their special day and thanks for sharing with Small Hope staff and guest!!!!
