A Make-A-Wish Trip to Small Hope Bay Lodge
We recently had a very special visitor to Small Hope.
Rudy first heard about Small Hope because his parents came here three years ago for a relative's wedding. He saw photos and heard about the beaches, and ocean, and fun we have here. He wasn't able to come then because he had been diagnosed with leukemia.
Rudy worked the the Make-A-Wish Foundation and through them was able to realize his dream of coming to Small Hope with his parents, bother, and sisters!
Even better, Rudy is now cancer free!

Sun N Fun 2015, with Small Hope!
Our fearless leader, Jeff Birch, was once again at Sun N Fun, the pilot show, in Lakeland, Florida this year! He, his son, Brian, and his good friend Rommel went to represent the Bahamas, Andros Island, and of course, Small Hope Bay Lodge! And it looks like they are having a blast! He and Rommel even taught a seminar about how easy it is for private pilots to fly to the Bahamas.

Our Easter, or as we now call it, "Feaster" 2015
We had an amazing holiday here at Small Hope Bay Lodge! A beautiful, April evening, with our bar and dinner on our beach-side patio. Here is just a bit of what our Easter menu included:

- Whole roasted pig
- Lobster tails
- Smoked Turkey
- Ham
- Two kinds of ribs
- Roasted brussel sprouts
- Grilled corn-on-the-cob
- Pumpkin bisque
- Root vegetable puree
And the dessert . . . Around 30 of the tastiest desserts ever, including pecan pie, Oreo cheescake, coconut pecan cookies, carrot cake, pina colada cake, guava duff, and so many more!
It was an incredible night for all. Hats off to the chefs, they really outdid themselves on this one!!!

Our new and improved website . . . .
We have redone our website!

The Aviation Adventures, and Small Hope, Bahamas!
We had a great group here recently. A group of private pilots from the US East Cost flew over to Andros Island and joined us here at Small Hope Bay Lodge. They organize group trips each year, and came to Small Hope for the diving and snorkeling, the fishing, and the relaxation!

And they even signed our most recent copy of the AOPA magazine since it featured their group in the Bahamas from last year.
